Hostel Facilities

Under the aegis of esteemed Director, Dr. Vikas Bhatia, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bibinagar, Hyderabad has provided accommodation facility for nursing students in the campus. Hostels are on the first floor. Students room facility - There are some rooms with student strength of 2 while few with the strength of 3. Each student has their own Bed, cupboard, table and chair

Food services

Hostel premises has facility of canteen for the students with dinning arrangements on the two different floors which serves breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Canteen also has facility of Tea/Coffee vending machine and snacks as well as ice-cream bar for munchies at craving times.

Water facility

Drinking water facilities are provided with RO system, water coolers is provided in each hostel wing. Provisionof hot and cold waters are there in all the washrooms for 24 Hours.

Cleaning facility

Cleanliness and hygiene of hostels are maintained strictlyand housekeeping staffs are cleaning the hostel rooms daily, serviceis provided from morning 7 am to till 8pm every day.

Drinking water facilities are provided with RO system, water coolers is provided in each hostel wing. Provisionof hot and cold waters are there in all the washrooms for 24 Hours.

Laundry Service

For laundry, automatic washing machines are there in the hostelwings with dry areas for clothes drying. Manual Laundry services are also available for laundry on fixed minimal rates.

Library and reading halls

Hostel campus is provided with 24 hours Wi-Fi facilities alongside with access of e-library facility.

Sports and gym facility

Students enjoy well equipped Gym with tread mill, aero fit 8806, push up bars. Etc. Hostels have both indoor and outdoor sports facility with tennis court, football, badminton, volleyball and cricket grounds in premises.

Indoorgames

like table-tennis, chess and carrom boards are also available in student’scommon room. Walking track is there in the rainbow park surrounding colourful fountain where students enjoy evening walk with the beats of instrumental music. Recreation Facility - For recreation facility, we have common rooms with television facility inside hostel wings. Two parks - AIIMS Vatika and Rainbow Park are therein hostel premises. Students use these places for celebrations like birthdays andvarious festivals. In the evening, mesmerising music is played through speakersmounted in the different corners of hostel premises which makes the green campuseven more beautiful.

Yoga & Mental health

Director of AIIMS Bibinagar Hyderabad belives mentalhealth is equally important as that of physical health. Yoga clinics are run with specialtrainer for students in the campus. Timings of yoga classes are adjusted inthemorning and evening considering academic schedule of students. For students’ mentalhealth issues, we have expert team of psychiatrists with clinical psychologist that helpsthe students in issues related to anxiety, stress or depression.

Health & Happiness Clinic

A special clinic called “Health and Happiness Clinic” is run for providing good mental and physical healthto the students. Music club - The facility of music club with instruments like drum, guitars. Etc areavailable. The club is run by the students. AIIMS Bibinagar Hyderabad is blessedwithimmense talent and always cherish it with all the capacities.

Outing and transport facility

Student’s outings for shopping, week-end outings andvisiting different places in the city transport facilities are provided

Anti-ragging committee

Institution has a policy on Anti-ragging free campus , as per the instructions ofHonourable Supreme Court. It is always alert and take allpreventive anti- ragging measures judiciously to avoid any unwanted events. Nosingle incidence of ragging has been reported till date in the Institute. Assistantwardens and Faculty I/C as a Deputy Hostel superintendent stays in hostel ensuringsmooth functioning of hostel. Security system - Hostel security system has guards at entry and exit points ofthe hostel wings. In and out entry of hostel is strictly maintained in entry-exit registers. Without permission of hostel warden, no visitors are allowed inside the hostel. Provision of CCTVcameras entry and exit points assure the safety of the studentswhich are always monitored in the security office round closet the ground floor of the hostelbuilding.

Medical services

First-aid services are always available in the hostel. Campus has IPDand ICU services near hostel premises. On duty doctors are available all the time. Lab-Investigations are free for students. For any clinicalemergency one well equipped cardiac ambulance is available 24X7 in the campus. Director of AIIMS Bibinagar had made sure all the students are vaccinatedwithcovid -vaccine in the campus. Not only students all the house-keeping and securitystaff in the hostel premises are vaccinated. Sanitizers are there at all main entryandexit points. Electrical and plumbing facility - For electrical and plumbing problems electriciansand plumbers are available in the campus all the time. Immediate services areprovided in case of any issues without any charges. Entire campus including all thehostel rooms havegenerator facility.
